Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of OptionScope (optionscope.ai, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What OptionScope is — and is not

OptionScope is an educational analytics tool for visualizing stock options data. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and not a brokerage. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, legal, or tax advice. OptionScope is not registered as an investment adviser or broker-dealer with the SEC or any other authority. Options trading involves substantial risk and is not suitable for every investor; you can lose more than your initial investment. Any trading decision you make is yours alone — consult a licensed financial professional before trading.

2. Market data

Quotes, option chains, implied volatility, Greeks, open interest, and volume are delayed at least 15 minutes and provided for informational purposes only. Data may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unavailable at any time, and must not be used as the basis for live trade execution timing. Analytics labeled as projections or scenarios are model outputs, not predictions. Where a number is unavailable, the Service says so rather than estimating.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your password secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to scrape or resell its data, probe its security, or violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in the billing portal (Account → Manage billing); cancellation stops future renewals and Pro access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice effective at your next renewal.

5. Acceptable use

You may not: resell, redistribute, or systematically scrape data from the Service; reverse-engineer or disrupt it; use it for any unlawful purpose; or share one paid account across multiple people. We may rate-limit or block traffic that degrades the Service for others.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OptionScope and its operator are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

7. Changes

We may update the Service and these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
