About OptionScope
OptionScope is an options-analytics workspace built for people who trade options themselves and want the same visual, quantitative tools institutional desks use — a redesigned option chain, a multi-view Greeks visualizer, a fair-value gauge, a gamma flip heatmap, an expected-move overlay, a 0DTE modeler, and a sector-wide IV Rank heatmap — in one place, without a Bloomberg-terminal price tag.
Why it exists
Most free options tools are a plain text chain: rows of numbers with no visual read on where liquidity or value actually sits. Most tools that do visualize this well are built for institutional desks and priced accordingly. OptionScope is the middle: real market data, presented the way a quant would want to see it, at a price built for an individual trader.
Our data rule
Every number on this site is either real or clearly labeled as a model projection computed from real inputs. We do not fabricate data to fill a gap. When something isn't available yet — an IV Rank history still accumulating days, an order-flow feed with no honest free data source behind it — the interface says so instead of guessing. That's also why there's no "unusual options activity" whale tracker: there's no commercially-licensed source we could afford that provides real block-trade/sweep data, so rather than fake one, we cut the feature.
- Real: quotes, option chains, IV, Greeks, open interest, and volume (CBOE); earnings dates (Yahoo Finance); IV Rank and Percentile (DoltHub's volatility history plus our own daily snapshots).
- Model projections, clearly labeled as such: the What-If Greeks Simulator, the Squeeze Modeler, the Earnings Move × Crush Matrix, and the 0DTE decay/toxicity model — all computed from the real book, never presented as fact.
Not investment advice
OptionScope is an educational analytics tool, not a broker-dealer or registered investment adviser, and nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Options trading carries real risk. See our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.
